Hi

I need communicate the V120 with a GSM modem (Siemens T65); someone has done something similar?

I think there is some example in Visilogic with a Siemens TC65.
There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Im having the same problem.
My code is ok, but when i try to configure the modem, it alls goes wrong.
In the manual says to click on PC-Side modem, but says to me "Network Registration Failed."
I simply don't know what to do anymore.

In Visilogic: HELP -> EXAMPLES:

Version 850 > Project examples > Communications > SMS
Version 850 > Project examples > Communications > GPRS

You can use some example of above. Maybe you have to change the model of modem in COM INIT. For example the exaple named V120_SMS_Sub_Stations.vlp is done for Siemens TC35, just change the model to TC65 and play with it.

First of all I recommend go to Connection - Modem Services and:

1.- Connect the modem to PC
2.- Initialice PC-side modem
3.- Put a phone number in Number to dial
4.- Test the modem with SMS Options

If all work well you will prepare PLC-side modem
